Mountain Mom Strong was created to bridge the gap between physiotherapy and a confident return to movement, fitness, and sport. Our mission is to empower women to take charge of their bodies throughout pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond supporting long-term strength, health, and confidence.

Our programs focus on reconnecting the breath, pelvic floor, and core to the rest of the body, restoring posture, strengthening glutes, improving balance, and gradually reintroducing impact. True postpartum recovery is more than Kegels—many moms experience discomfort, leakage, or hesitation with movement even after basic strength returns. Our approach emphasizes connection, coordination, and progressive strength, creating a foundation that supports long-term function, confidence, and performance.

Once foundational recovery is complete, our Beyond training helps you continue building strength, resilience, and capacity for the activities you love. Whether your goal is hiking, trail running, mountain biking, snowboarding, or keeping up with your growing kids, Beyond ensures progress doesn’t stop after rehab.

Hi, I’m Sara


Mom, Athlete, Kinesiologist & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist. Founder of Mountain Mom Strong.

I’m so glad you’re here! When I’m not supporting moms, you’ll usually find me outdoors—mountain biking, hiking, snowboarding, and exploring the backcountry. Staying active and connected to nature is a big part of how I approach fitness and life.

After years of rehabilitating my body through injuries and navigating postpartum recovery myself, I learned the importance of rebuilding a strong foundation before returning to activity. I discovered that slowing down is the fastest path to lasting strength.

As I connected with other moms, I realized how common injury, pelvic floor symptoms, and challenges returning to movement are after childbirth. Many moms struggle not only with returning to sports but also with everyday activities—and they aren’t given the guidance to recover fully and move confidently. Something was missing from postpartum care, and that’s why I created Mountain Mom Strong.

My mission


is to educate, support, and inspire moms to take charge of their bodies during pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond.
